The fast-changing landscape of technology at events make event planners think more outside the box than ever before, and outside the event venues when it comes to engaging the attendees, vendors, suppliers, partners and the client. Event engagement starts from when the first marketing communication goes out to attendees, and they start thinking about attending and registering for the event. The next step is to enhance the overall marketing message and why it is important to attend for them.
The same goes for potential exhibitors, vendors, partners, and supplies on why they should be part of the event. Even though we already have suppliers signed up and preparing for the event way before it’s announced…… still it is important that we can not lose the sight on making sure that our suppliers are fully committed to the event.
We started our technology event division in 2013 and since then we gained experience and significant growth both in terms of services we offer but also how we plan technology implementation on-site/off-site for an event. For some event planners, technology means anything to do with information technology, but Audio Video Technology also needs to be planned accordingly. The Audio Video industry is going through a transition phase as well where software is gradually becoming the core of the overall performance. LED panels are one great example to give a WOW effect to both formal and entertainment parts of an event. These LED panels have gone down significantly in pricing but the content playing on it still requires great expertise from a content and vision perspective.
We are looking forward to seeing how many more new ideas and new technology are coming to the horizon and only thing we can do is to know, learn, adapt and implement them to make it worthwhile for everyone involved.
